My Bio
Hello Webcomic Fans!

Welcome to the official deviantART profile for The Politically Incorrect, Out of Touch Newsie!

The joke in the first strip came to life while listening to old radio shows late on a Sunday night. The shows are very entertaining in their own right, but they way the actors talk, and how ridiculous some of their ideas are, especially on politics, towards women and different ethnic groups, are so outdated you just have to laugh.

A friend and I just imagined and old time radio announcer or street corner newsie announcing "Scientific proof women belong in the kitchen!" and we went on from there!

--

The comic strip pokes fun at the absurd views held by generations past, ideas you might find in old books, radio shows and black and white film. We're also not against laughing at those people who still cling to such out of touch ideas.

American philosopher George Santayana wrote,"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it". So while we're remembering the past, why not have some laughs?

--

I hope you enjoy the comic and thanks for stopping by! - Matt Bleasdale, artist and author.
